POWERLINE ANNOUNCES AVAILABLITY OF NEW HIGH EFFICIENCY SWITCHING REGULATOR AND AC – DC POWER MODULES FROM MORNSUN

Leading UK Electronic component and power supply distributor Young electronics group is pleased to announce the availability of two new products from Mornsun through their UK Power Supply division YEG Powerline.

K78-500 DC – DC Converter
The K7805-500 is Mornsun’s extension of newly developed high efficiency switching regulator. It is a non-isolated, regulated, single output DC-DC converter with an ultra wide input voltage range of 6.5-32V, and output voltage 5V (1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V etc. are in development). The rated output current is 0.5A, and the efficiency is up to 93% which means very little energy is wasted as heat, so there is no need for any heat sinks. This converter has a high power density, compact size (L W H =11.5 x 7.6 x 10.2mm), SIP3 package (pin to pin compatible with LM7805 linear regulators), short circuit protection, thermal shutdown and low ripple and noise. It is ideally suited to replace LM7805, and being widely used in applications such as industrial control, electric power and testing instruments etc.

LH05 to LH20
AC – DC Power Module LH05-LH20 series are high efficiency AC-DC `green power` modules with various packages developed by Mornsun. This series features wide input voltage, DC and AC all in one (both input from the same terminal, high efficiency, high reliability, low power dissipation and safety isolation. The product is suitable for a wide range of applications such as industrial, office and civil equipment. EMC and safety standards meet international standards of IEC61000 and EC60950. LH05 – 20 Series also features a universal input: 85 to 264VAC,50/60Hz, Low Ripple and Noise. All products in the series have overload protection and short circuit protection and offer high efficiency and high power density. At no load the LH05 – 20 series consumes extremely low power making them energy efficient. Various models are available, all of which meet industrial level specifications and requirements. Each unit comes with a 3 year warranty MORNSUN products are built to a high specification offering high-efficiency and high reliability to meet the most demanding requirements in a wide range of applications.
