Environmental Policy
The Young Electronics Group is committed to the protection and preservation of the environment whilst conducting our business activities through the distribution of our products and services. It is our intent to be recognized by our customers, suppliers, employees and the local community as a responsible business, committed to continual improvement in all areas relating to environmental impact and legal compliance. To this end we shall:
Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, permits, customers policies and other requirements to which we subscribe.
Establish environmental objectives and targets that consider these aspects as an integral part of our business.
Develop employee knowledge and understanding of environmental issues related to job functions.
Promote the conservation of resources and reduction of waste generation by re-using, recycling and by adopting processes which conserve the use of raw materials.
Require all suppliers to prove commitment to continual improvement of their environmental impact as well as complying with their local environmental legislation.
Communicate this policy to all employees and make it available to the public.
Implementation of this policy is a primary management objective and is the responsibility of all employees.
